Unified Movement Toward the Goal!
20 12 08 - 11:35 What are the traits that will dictate if an individual will persevere until the end and are they evident? What type of person will endure and conversely, what type will become disillusioned with the narrow way and fall away? When I came into the Faith I asked “What can I do to be saved”? Just like in the case of the Ethiopian eunuch in Acts 8:27, Yahweh reveled Himself through His Word. I realized that a sincere citizen of Heaven must strive for a higher level of holiness, Leviticus 19:2, and in so doing must then endure to the end, Matthew 24:13. In a study a while back I came across the word “goal”. To reach the “goal” we must “go-all”. This unified action must be accomplished by all those who are looking to find acceptance in Yahweh’s eyes. This trek is a ongoing venture. Paul wrote in Philippians 3:14 that he was “pressing on toward the high-calling of the Yahweh in the Messiah Yahshua”. Even though the Way is difficult sometimes, our journey pales in comparison to what our forefathers had to endure. The vision of the objective must remain fresh. This is accomplished by living a spiritually-acceptable existence.During this time of Hanukkah, Feast of the Dedication, when we remember the blessings for obedience as Yahweh acted on behalf of the Maccabean family, our determination should be strengthened to not allow the cares of the world and the agents of the Adversary to divert our attention but, casting our cares on Yahweh, go forward toward the Kingdom of Yahweh.
